We believe that a family system approach is essential when working with children. Our aim is to work together with parents and carers to ensure that we have a good understanding of current concerns and how to support you during the assessment process. We use clinical assessment as a tool to better understand your child's unique thinking style. Following the assessment, we offer a follow-up session to discuss the results of the assessment. A comprehensive report is also provided detailing the assessment results and intervention strategies personally tailored to your child.
We work with very young children who may need an assessment to explore school readiness and to support their transition to primary school. We work collaboratively with schools and educators to guide and support them in order to enhance your child's overall performance and behaviour at school. We also provide support in the areas of emotional regulation, social skills training, and behaviour. Behavioural observation onsite can also be arranged if required.
